Default cam opinions

I have a 69 small block I pulled from my chevelle that im going to be putting in my 88 camaro, the codes on it came back to being 350-300hp 2 bolt main, the shortblock is in good shape, just plan on getting the heads cleaned up with a valve job and resurface. my question is what is a good cam+springs for a daily driver, I drive this car everyday and want some decent power but not something that is going to hurt it driving everyday.

Hmm, something about 220/224 duration @ .050 with 470ish lift on a 112 LSA, you should find a decent cam set with a kit for the application. that is if you have a performer intake and a decent carb.

218/224 or 224/230@.050 and .475-510 valve lift range on a 110LDA.
