Should go easily with a good tune and even better fuel, with that compression your tuning window gets a little tougher but it is done every day with gear heads around the world.

What does the bottom end consist of? Forged or cast internals? 2 or 4 bolt mains? How much ring gap? Lots of missing info here. You can safely use as much nitrous as the parts in the motor are built to handle.

i dont think a forged crnk would be a necessity for the 200 shot but it would be nice if you wanted to go bigger in the future...

With those parts and rings gapped for nitrous, you can dump some serious squeeze in that thing. A 200 shot will be cake. Make sure you've got the supporting fuel system and a good tune up and you're golden.

+1, i was running a 150 shot pump gas on my 9.5 c/r cast internal 327 for about 2 years before i decided to pull it for a 383 build.

a 200 shot if jetted and tuned correctly should be good with your supporting cast of parts. Just remember to watch the fuel and bottle pressure when you make a pass and don't ride it out if either looks iffy.

Don't forget to check your ring gap. It is very important that you have enough gap for the additional heat generated with nitrous. Fuel delivery is critical (as others have mentioned). I would highly recommend adding a low pressure cut-off switch to your fuel supply line. Also make sure your ignition system is upgraded. You will need to pull about 8° of timing to run 200 hp nitrous. Spark plug temperature range should be 2 ranges colder than recommended for NA.

It depends on your tune. I have around 10.75 static compression ratio, and have sprayed 200hp running just 93 octane. Made 660 rwhp on pump gas. But I was using the NOS recommended jetting, which put me around 10:1 AFR. This spring I plan to lean that out a little to more like 12:1. Even with your higher static compression ratio, I can't see you needing 116 octane with just 200 hp jetting. Start smaller on your jetting, and pull the spark plugs after each pass for a while to look for detonation. If everything is OK, then step it up slowly.

step it up slowly on the jetting or the octane of the gas.
