Default Need suggestions on BBC Blown setup

I've decided im going with a 427ci motor with a Weiland blower(8-71)

Its a 71 camaro z/28, th-400 trans freshly built with a 3800stall and a brand new 12-bolt with a 4.10 gear and 35 spline axles, running 10.5 inch slicks.

Next is buying the motor. What do you guys suggest on brand or specific things you have done? Its a street/strip car, shooting for low 11's, 10's even. I dont want a 9sec car for nhra rules and i want something decently reliable when cruzing on the street.

Thanks!

Just build a 496 or 505 out of your 427 block, and run 10's all motor.

Yeah get some more CUI, last time my car was at the track it ran 11.1 or so on the motor, next time it will be in the 10's all motor. Its a 468 with out of the box heads and intake and REALLY old technology.

Unless you have had the stall for a while a stall is one of the last things you get but still may work for you.

You will NOT get anything close to teh gas mileage that your LS1 car gets hahaha.
For what you want I would just crank up the CUI and get a nice heads, cam, intake package.
