Default help me make a killer 383 combo

hi guys

I sold my intake (RPM air gap), carb (holley 750dp) and cam ( lunati flat tapp)

what I have now:
383 short block with scat forged crank and rod
lunati doomed pistons
dart pro 1 aluminum heads 200CC
12:1 compression
1.6 rocker arms
comp cam double roller timing chain
millen hi volume oil pump
morose oil pan
electric water pump
msd ignition system
headman long tube headers

can you give me an idea about what should I get to make this 500+hp engine
I'm thinking about getting super victor intake and quick fuel 850 carb I want a solid roller cam but I don't know what cam will work best for me.
this engine will be drag race only and I will use 150hp shot

any idea will be highly appreciated

Get the heads Ported and a super vic, quick fuel 850, and a 255+ @.050" duration and 630"+ lift. If the heads are Ported to 300+cfm, which is easy out of those, then it oughtta make 600ish HP....Easy 575hp.

I would run 1 3/4" primary headers.

What hood do you have on your camaro????

Don't go to big on the headers of it will kill you at the track, I have a 468 and don't have big headers.

If its race only I would crank up the compression some more and jump the nitrous up, for that bottom end it may not be the best but I bet it will handle more bottle

I think it was Hot Rod that had an article a few years ago about header primary sizes with the same dyno motor. The 1 5/8" primary headers only out performed the 1 3/4" primary headers from 3,400 to 4,000 rpm, and even then it wasn't by much. The 1 1/2" primary headers actually out performed the 1 5/8" headers almost all the way across the rpm range. I still beleive that the 1 3/4" headers are the way to go.
