I believe you just need the flywheel from jegs/summit, it is a centerforce, around 500$.

If you have a LT1 T56 it bolts right up with the right flywheel. LS1 needs a bellhousing like from McLeod. Also you need to know your crank pattern. 85 and down need a 2 piece bolt pattern and you can get from McLeod, Centerforce, and I think Fidanza. 86 - up I think you can use the stock LT1 flywheel, but I'm not sure. Linkage depends on setup, but they will both be hydraulic, not mechanical.

Yes, the LTx flywheel bolts directly to the 86+ engine but the big block needs a custom flywheel, get with the sponsors on here like 6 speed rebuilders and they will give the exact part number.

What do you mean custom? The only thing I'm not 100% about it the thickness of the flywheel, but I would imagine it would be the same. Counter wieght should be close enough too for balancing purposes. It's still a 153 tooth flywheel and I use a stock LT1 starter on my BBC. I run a Gen V 502 block, but I'm using a 4.250 crank from a Mark IV engine so I had to run a McLeod Street Twin with the correct 2-piece bolt pattern instead of a 1-piece. Picture and Part# are in my thread in the Drag Racing section.

Custom as in the LTx clutch is not ANYTHING like the olds schools stuff, it is a pull design rather than a push design

Push/Pull it doesn't matter because it's based on the transmission. The flywheel doesn't care one way or the other as long as it's the right size for the clutch and right bolt pattern for the crank.

I have everything you need... You need a t-5 bellhousing, a 168 tooth flywheel, an 11" clutch plate and a 11" pressure plate. Long throwout bearing and a Viper input shaft for the t-56 w/ an adapter plate (I have all of the expensive parts if you want them.

The bellhousing cares, it is desighned for the pull style, or get the custom stuff, bellhousing and all that.
