Red River Raceway News I called the owner of the drag strip today and Red River Raceway is in the process of being sold to new owners. This is great news for the Ark La Tex as it looks like we will still have this fine drag strip to run at. I was afraid we were going to lose it, so racers & fans alike let's try real hard to patronize the track in 2009.

thats great news!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I ususally either went to RRR or SCR since i dont have a local track. right at 3hrs to RRR and about 2 - 2.5 to SCR for me so its kinda like where do i want to go this weekend

That's good news! Now i get to compare my new Victor Jr. intake with some 1/4 mile runs but i'll be going to prescott some as well and running some bracket and index racing with greg for some money. Times are hard so i may have to go back to my old bracket racing days

Well it looks like I may have posted some bad info, as today I'm tolded that it is not a done deal and that someone is just coming to look at the track. My bad guys, I guess sometimes you even get bad info out of the office secretary. Guess I'll just shut up and keep wishing.

Love the track just didnt like the operators!! Last year my buddies g/f pulled off 2nd place in some LS-1 race at the end of the year some of you might remember it. Silver T/A girl whoopin ya'lls asses...lol

Yep, I remember that. Nothing wrong with taking a whoopin from a girl from time to time 
You guys need to come back this year, we have a lot of very good bracket race running with us now. The operators have been the problem with that place for years
