Anyone in Atlanta, GA down to race? There's a guy with a SRT8 Magnum who says he'll beat ANY stock C5 LS1 Vette or any stock LS1 F-body. Anyone want to prove him wrong? He said that SRT8's are a little slower than C6 Vette's. If a stock LS1 F-body beats him he'll give you $500 and he'll paypal me $500.

Good luck finding a stock f bomb. But this guy has spray, no way in hell a 4k pound car is going to hange with a stock c5 or f bomb. When I was in texas my friend and i race a srtb8 in a srt4 with a cold air intake and walk the srt8 bd. And yes the driver of the 8 knew what he was doing because that night he click off a 13.8 quater 3 times that night.

im not completely stock, but if he wants to meet me halfway between columbia and atlanta, ill give him a length or two to make up for it, and then take his money and put it towards a cam haha

I've got a stock '01 Zo6 with the engine in pieces... I'm sure he'll win.
I can get out and push my 'Vette with a buddy... since I won't have to pay for losing I'll take that offer, as long as he pays for a tow from my house and back.

The stock SRT8 will beat a stock or bolt on SS/WS6 f-bomb. My buddie raced one going up 400N towards cumming and got his *** drug. My buddie has a 99SS w/ borla cat back, long tube headers, LS6 intake, SLP lid and a Moser 12 bolt with 3.73 gears. From about 40mph roll to about 90mph he got his *** waxed by a Bone stock SRT8 w/ 22'' rims. 4000lbs or not those cars are fast!
