Im looking for a machine shop thats good with ls based motors. I am in the area between New Orleans and Mobile, AL. I have used Wall to Wall and I know they do great work for Thunder Racing. I was just wondering if I had any other choices for shops in this area. Oh also what is a good price for boring, honing, balancing, assembling a short block? I got a quote from Wall to Wall again and I want to see if they are in line for pricing.

You can also try GCRE (Gulf Coast Racing Engines) in Florida. They are just a little drive from Mobile and they are very good from what I hear on LS motors. They have an ad in GM high tech magazine.
