Default Cam Install Columbus Ga

Just got a 2001 Firehawk and need some springs and cam installed.

I went to a shop but they wanted 1200 dollars. I was thinking like 300 and a 12 pack.. if you do or know someone who can do it, please let me know..

Anybody that values their work is going to charge more than $300 but $1200 is pretty damn steep for a cam install.

It's funny you say that. I get 4-5 cars per year from Columbus and the guys say the same thing. Haven't heard anything negative about Mr. Outlaw yet, but apparently the word on the street is that shops in the Columbus area need to put the wrenches down.

I personally don't trust anyone to work on any of my cars and that's why I do my own wrenching/tuning because that's my choice. But some people prefer to have their cars worked on by someone else and that's cool too. You have your good shops and you have your bad shops, but there is one thing that I noticed about this thread. Outlaw has yet to post any comments about his shop or talk about anyone else and their shop. Are you expecting him to mess up someones car?

GMCBURBAN
My advice to you is good luck finding a shop to install your cam because it is your money and your choice when it's all said and done.
