Default Anyone from Nashville area?

Just looking into better places to move to from California, I am in the IT field and the wife and I are tired of paying a premium to let some dumb hippies make decisions.

I looked at Austin, TX and then decided to look at Tennessee too since I like cooler weather (I was stationed in Baltimore at one point and grew quite accustomed to the cold, plus I lived in Colorado when I was younger so snow is not new for me).

Just looking for any insights anyone might have, I will most likely be selling the Z28 before the move or after if anyone out there wants a good California car lol. I will replace it with an earl second gen or a first gen or maybe a 71-72 duster.

Its not bad, I've been stationed here since 2009. Everything is pretty close together. Lots of car stuff around the area. A little cheaper live on ky side but other than that great place.

Nice! Yeah it is still a lot cheaper to live in TN than CA based off what I have seen on the internet, but then again the internet isn't always truthful.

I live just south of Franklin in Columbia. Franklin/Brentwood is a great area.
I travel to San Diego quite often and love SD but certainly would not want to live there.

I'm more active on the Corvette forum so if you have questions shoot me a pm so that I get an email alert.
Let me know if I can help.

Will do man, I think we are flying out in January to look around and see. My wife is really into redoing old furniture and digging through junk and restoring it (well I see it as junk, but then again I look at rusted out cars and see what they can be lol). Apparently Franklin has struck her interest, but I am going to make her check out the area.

I think I am signed up on corvette forums, I will head over there too.

Is it really humid during the summer out there? Like as in as humid as Florida?
