I am considering taking a job in TN (in the Manchester, Winchester, Tullahoma area). I'd like to get peoples opinion of the communities, schools, crime/drug problems, recreation, restaurants etc. Also need to know about the vehicle smog or inspection check requirements since I have heavily modified cars. I am in FL where we have no inspections at all, for anything.

Im in fayetteville about 30min south of the areas you are talking about, spent alot of time in wincheaster/tullahoma area. I would live any where else IMO. Alot of things to do, lake 15 min away, alot of offroad parks, drag strips ect.

I can only talk about my town but pretty sure Winchester/Tullahoma their is no SMOG or inspection.

great to hear. I was starting to worry. Winchester/Tullahoma were the 2 places I have been looking at the most too!
