Default May have another LS1 owner...

...my wife has been throwing around the idea of getting a WS6. If she does she'll want a burgundy one which will be hard to find. Anyway I thought I would share this with the Asheville croud because personally I find it exciting! Oh ya and she said she want's it to whistle which means we will probably finance the new Phamspeed budget turbo kit into the price and put it on the car in stock form. Should be plenty of power for her

Ya if she decides to get one then I'll just hagle the price down enough to get the turbo kit and still be under the value of the car. That's the plan anyway. Won't be as fast as your car but don't think she really needs anything like that quite yet

Sure we do. After getting married , we forget all kinds of stuff , like things on the "honey do" list , the grocery list and just about anything else on a list. Lists and married men doesn't make a very good combination at all. We also tend to forget anniversaries , birthdays and stuff like that. We have to keep a minimal amount of brain space available for the really important things like who won the Daytona 500 8 years ago , the MVP of 1983 in the NFL, and where we put that TV remote!

Yeah she's gotta get her own F-body sly. I agree you have your T/A. Glad to see she wants one and is getting interested in the F-bodies. It's nice to have a joint hobby you both enjoy doing. If I didn't already have my firebird, I would have gotten a Hugger SS of my own. Just too much sentamental value in my birdie now and $$$$.

lol if she wanted that color maybe. I would definately be interested but I would need to put an engine in mine and sell it first. Probably just end up converting it to M6 instead.

What did you end up doing with that forged 370?

Ended up selling it to Armageddon on here. He has a turbo on it now as well. Last time I talked to him he said he pulled a viper by a car length up to 160mph on just motor alone (before installing the turbo). Kind of crazy considering it was running 8.5:1 compression.

Wow, thats pretty good. Seems viper killers are getting more common around here, especially all motor.

I was just wondering cause I don't know how much longer mine is going to last. I think I'm going to push my luck with it here in a week or two.

Oh I don't know, its hard to say. I'd probably pick up a forged shortblock from wheover has a good deal going. I'd probably stay with the stock cubes, but add a good cam and heads. That with the blower will give me plenty of power. The guy I got this procharger kit from made over 650rwhp with ported heads/cam/forged motor. That sounds pretty good to me.
