You should be able to take the AIR system out yourself, its very simple. As far as getting the codes deleted just find someone with LS1 edit and you are good to go. PM me if you have any questions about it.

Just take the hoses out, make sure u have block off plates for where they connect to the headers, and then I think its just 4 bolts that hold the actual pump in. Simple as that. You can do it man, I got faith.
