I have a cop friend who told me that the 100 "hot" days of summer have started. For those who dont know what that is it is where ALL the cops stop anyone for doing anything wrong just to catch up for "down" season. Take it for what it's worth just letting ya'll know

Yeah, they have been that way for years during the summer. I got arrested for "racing" a few years back in Cartersville, and never got over 60mph in a 55. T/A's are head turners especially when they are loud.

I think if you are still right around Atlanta and not the suburbs, you don't get hit that bad. I might have to watch out for the damn Cobb county cops here in Vinings though. The F-body gathering is going on and there are soooooo many sweet cars there that might get stopped. They had a cop sitting out last night at the entrance all night although he didn't do anything the whole time he was there. Very loud cars too.

This summer heat is nothing though. When I lived in Ohio, it was 5x worse all year round. This is cake down here.

Agreed, GA is prob. one of the best states to own a nice hot rod. You just have to dot your i's and cross your t's. And know when to get on it and when not to. VA laws are crazy strict, anything over 80mph is considered wreckless driving. I got my license pulled for 6 months for being paced at 81 mph. I had a GA license, but because it was a Virginia law of wreckless driving I got it pulled anyway. It was homo to say the least. I get pulled over for really stupid stuff.

The cops that were actually in the parking lot were there for the car show. They were there to watch over the cars during the night and just to make sure there weren't any dumbasses out there keying cars and **** like that. They were there to protect us
