Default Emissions testing in the Raleigh area?

Thinking of moving to the Raleigh area very soon. Somewhere around Cary or Holly Springs. I've heard that in some areas they don't have testing. I'm just finishing up with my turbo build and need to know if I'm going to run into any problems with E-check if I move there. Any help would be greatly apprieciated.

I live in Moore County about 60 miles SW of Raleigh. The test requirement depends on what county you live in. This link has all the information.

If you're anywhere near Raleigh, and your vehicle is 1996 or newer, you'll have to be tested.
