Georgia law for volume of exhaust?
Does anyone know of the actual law that states that an exhaust system on a car can only be so loud? And whether it's by a cop's discretion or a certain decibal? Thanks.

Well I was planning on installing my "Dynomouth" system today and the guy @ Exhaust Wizard said 2 people had to get their SLP Loudmouth's taken off due to high exhaust volume because they got tickets for it. Just wanted to know if there's an exact law or ordinance that states exactly how loud it can be.

If anyone would get a ticket for it- it would be Chalie... and he hasn't had any issues in all the times he's been pulled over for other stuff.
Tell that exhaust shop to "up the shut f#ck" or you'll take your business elsewhere.
If that was true then every ricer in Atlanta would have their cars impounded from all the fart-can noise. ... I wish.

i would definately have it, ive been open headers for a week while my duals were getting welded... but i live in the boonies and the cops like it, but there is a limit to too much.. and dynomouth is not too much. Im runnin true duals with one chamber flows, just keep your foot out of it around cops and if they pull you over tell them you bought the car like that
