Any piston slap/burning oil/warped rotor issues?

None that I am aware of. Having said that...bear in mind that I do the factory recommended oil & filter changes every three thousand miles, which doesn't present a lot of opportunity to see evidence of oil usage.

When you stand behind the car as it is idling, there is no smoke. At WOT, there is some evidence of smoke, so I believe it may be using some at WOT, but I'm also thinking...what LS1 car does NOT produce some smoke and moderate oil consumption at WOT???
There was a point in time when GM openly stated that these engines were designed with a little oil consumption in mind. You would need to just have it checked out like any other car you might purchase, I guess, so you could decide if it was for you or not.
