Default hood shock question,,,,,,

my ws6 only has one hood shock on it,, is this supposed to be like this on fiberglass hoods or did some owner take it off??? the hood stays up fine with one.. so thats why i ask?

I've always seen 2 . . . but with an aftermarket hood, maybe it was recommended to be removed . .

When I bought my car it had a fiberglass superhawk hood on it, and it also only had one hood shock. The previous owner didn't put the second one on. It would stay open just like yours does. I don't understand why people do some of the things they do.

cause the hood struts are meant for steel hoods and since the aftermarket ones are fiberglass, they could damage the hood

yes,,,, thats why I posted this in special edition section,,,,, is all WS6 fiberglass hood only supposed to have 1 shock???
Like is this a common thing,,, anyone else with a factory fiberglass hood care to comment.
