Default Title says Z28 not SS?

Hey guys, On the title for my 98' SS the title says its a Z28 not an SS. Are they all like this?

I'm wondering because i'm filling out my collecters plate application, and i've heard only the SS is considered a collecters vehicle. Some say since they stopped production, all camaros are considered collectable. Dose anyone know for sure?

TIA
Jim

Ha very few SS's will be collectiable too many out there and not enough difference. Only the cars by GMMG are gonna be collectiable.

a SS is a Z28 with the "ss" option code (wu8 i think?)

so title/carfax may report as a Z28

I don't care about it being collectable. If i get collecters plates i don't have to take an emissions test, and there cheaper.

My car won't pass emissions so I need to get them.

You also have to have another vehicle listed as your primary driving vehicle at all times.
