SLP reproduction window sticker and birth certificate, worth it?
So I just ordered from SLP a reproduction of the birth certificate and window sticker, my car when i bought it did not come with these items. Has anyone ordered those from SLP for their car?
And can you really tell that much difference from the originals?
since I gave them the last 8 of my vin, they should have all the correct info right as far as what to put on the documents?
Thanks.

Id like to have one but dont think I can get it from ASC... Anyone who knows otherwise, let me know. Id like to have my "birth certificate" too... $115 seems like a lot but considering all the other **** be buy for our cars, this is nothing...

The guy i talked with on the phone said you can definately tell the difference between these reproductions and the originals, but he did not say exactly what is different.

i was going to get the stickers as well. the thing that sucks is i located the original owner of my car and he has all the original papers, the last time i talked to him he was locating one last piece and now i cant get ahold of him.

I think I'm gonna get these for Christmas. I'm also too cheap to spend that kinda $ on a piece of paper.
It's nice to see one of the other 36 Hawks in MN, I know the owner of 2000 #138, and I am 2001 #160. You should check out http://www.mngmp.org/forums/ there are 2 '97? Hawk owners on there, and they have a cruise coming up next weekend.

Well 36 others that are registered. http://www.firehawkowners.com/state/mn.html Kinda funny how 2001 #159 and #160 are both in MN.
What kinda info is on the birth certificate and window sticker, other than just options and build number?

It was worth it IMO
Shitty pics I know. I liked finding out where my car was built and what dealership actually sold it to it's first owner.
