Default Help me decide!!!!

Ok i have a dilemma...I am looking at 2 cars a 1998 WS6 T/A Auto leather 65,000 miles $9500 Black Vs a 2001 Firehawk 91XXX miles 6spd $10500 white. The WS6 is getting a new transmission and the Firehawk is getting a new ring and pinion gear. Which one would all of you favor over the other???

the 01. the egr was deleted for 01 and they have the ls6 intake.

a few other minor things changed for 01 so its the better buy IMO

Yep. The 01 is the better deal. The Firehawk came with a couple goodies extra also.

I'd go with the Firehawk. It's younger and Firehawks are pretty rare.

I'd go with the 01 fire hawk myself if the extra $ dident matter much.

I'd also pick the Firehawk; however, the miles are a little high to be paying over $10k, IMO.

I know this is 2 weeks too late but everyone sure was assuming a lot here. Some things to consider before throwing opinions out there. Were the cars in the same exact condition? Both with clean titles, maintenance histories, etc... ??? Who owned these cars? Does the Firehawk come complete with a 16 year old banging through the 6 speed?? or perhaps was it babied by a middle aged owner? Pretty important factors and I certainly wouldn't consider the 'former' if that held true. Need a lot more information. A bit alarming is why the 65,000 miles car needs a new tranny. Why?? Beaten? Abused? Who owned it? Questions are endless in order to make an educated 'guesstimate' on which is the better choice.
