Looking at a 30th anniversary trans am, is there a way to make sure its a real 30th besides the obvious:
Stripes
Rims
White interior
Badges on outside
badge oon inside

What else could help me determine its not a clone?

Z4C rpo code on the door or in the glove box. Look up the vin on slp website. It will show you the build number/date and options codes.

I tried slp but since they are not built by slp it doesnt show up. I will look for the Z4c code.

I don't understand is it an ss? All ss camaros were modified by slp. If it's not an ss it's not a true 30th aniversary package just made in 1997.

I'm not sure if there was a special RPO code for the 30th T/As, but they ALL would have RPO codes 10U (Arctic White exterior), WS6, and 105 (unique 30th Anniversary interior trim). If its a 'vert, it would also have RPO 28T (blue top). If the car doesn't have those RPOs, then it'd be a clone of some sort.
