Default The Hawk has landed

Hello everyone, as some know I was looking for a new ride, well here it is, I found me a 2000 Firehawk, white, "lumpy" spoiler, auto, 1/6 built like this, Only known mod is what appears to be a LM exhaust, has some typical F~body items that need to be addressed, speaker, driver door has a small crack, otherwise its pretty nice, here are some photo's it was very dirty when i bought it so I am deep into a full compound and wax, well so far just compound lmao, interior has been cleaned up and took to the cleaning very well, hoping the hawk mats shampoo ice. have a few things to get, speakers, 1 wheel if possible, its nicked, driver door panel, and ttop shades, slp rear mat, let me know if you have anything

Paint looks pretty nice in those photos. I've always liked white Hawks.

I don't think there is a good way to tell from the outside.
From the inside, the LM1 is completely empty, ..., The LM2 has a straight thru open design, but has a core baffle in it.
Some of the later LMII's may have been more of a polished finish. Not sure if all the LMI's were polished. So maybe someone that has one can chime in & help.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that the LM2 has an interchangeable bullet style resonator which uses band clamps while the LM1 resonator was an all welded design. And as mentioned, the LM1 is basically straight through while the LM2 has a perforated and ceramic core tube. Very nice car. I am partial to the white 4th gen T/As! My 98 has the LM1, and I love the sound.
