it's a ridiculous number like that. My firend has a Purple 98 Z. I want it sooo bad, and don't even caree for the Zs, but that color is too cool!

I saw a Sport Gold Metallic Camaro at Six Flags Astroworld last Saturday. Don't recall having seen any Bright Purple Metallic F-bodies in person yet.

Man, there are like 10 of those ugly gold things here in Jacksonville. 2 Zs that I see all the time, and 1 TA, a few V6 Camaros and at least 1 V6 Firebird

I saw a purple TA here in SoCal. It had a plate that said "Slowcar"... cracked me up... Slowcar...

Pretty rare color, but not as rare as this SCARY DAY-GLOW GREEN Camaro I saw yesterday at Burger King. It's was REALLY SCARY! I can't even describe the "wake-me-up-before-you-go-go-ness" of it. I brought my camera today in hopes that it'll be around again, so I can snap pix.

This green wasn't stock by any means. I'd say Earl Schibe, if not a ton of cans from a model shop. It was unnatural... my buddy and I couldn't take our eyes off, it was SO UGLY.

i've seen that slime green color around on a couple of Camaros, and I see a bunch of the gold ones. Its really sad because I like the gold ones but here in the bay area the gold ones seem to be the FBods that end up with 22" spinners and altezza tailights

really they only made 6 ws6 in 1998 with BM purple 2 were convertibles on 6 speed on with out. This is by far the most beautiful color gm ever made. I looked for 3 years till i found mine and not going to get rid of it either

That is a great-looking car!

There were 42 total purple Trans Am convertibles in 1998, and 339 total WS6 TA convertibles, but I hadn't known how few there were of the purple WS6 TA convertibles!

I've seen 2 Gold Z28's around here. One was stock with altezzas, the other had the slp center exhaust, SS hood, billet grill and chrome Z06's I think. Nice looking car, but haven't seen it in awhile.

Thanks I live about 45 mins from you, west that is, if you are ever going to houston. take 90 thought the country and swing on by. I am going to take some more pics this coming weekend. I put a roll bar in it from wolfe craft and prokit springs. I also just had my Tonneau cover painted as well. Everyday I see my car I thanks god that i ddint buy a vette. Which i was about to do becuase i thoguht i would never find this car!

I've always heard that there were not any factory chameleon WS6's. That's not to say that Carl Black couldn't have converted a non-WS6 chameleon car on it's own...?

There's a guy from the Northwest forum (he's also the administrator of LS2.com) that owns a 98 purple formula. In person it is more beautiful than on film.
