2000 WS6 Formula
Is there any further information on 2000 WS6 Formula build numbers? I know this year had bad record keeping. I have the build manifest, does that help? I think I have one of the last of the 232/233 made that year, since they stopped building in May 2000.
VIN# 2G2FV22G9Y2160118

Is anyone doing build #'s anymore? Thread seems kinda dead and can't PM the thread starter.

HEY JUSTIN, if you're tired of providing this info, I'd be glad to fill your shoes if you send me your databases. I already have '98s (except red/black WS6s).

It should be noted that ASC also provided the convertable top mechanism for the 4th gen Camaro and Firebirds (and possibly the 3rd-gens as well). I believe they shipped the tops & mechanism to GM where it was installed on the line, I doubt it'd be practical to be shipping 'verts w/ no tops back and forth to ASC for this operation.
Like SLP, ASC kept records of the sequence of each car as it rolled through their shop for WS6 conversion, asigning a "ASC#" to each VIN# that was converted to a WS6. However, my understanding was there was a fire where some of these records were lost for the black & red '98s and all the '99s and possibly some other periods of production.
So yes, the ASC# represents the sequence of a particular car's conversion to a WS6 for that model year.
