I Purchaced A 2001 Black Ws6 From Ebay The Car Does Not Have The Ws6 Emblem On The Back Also It Does Not Have The Ram Air Decals On The Hood The Car Is A True Ws6 Verified By The Vin And The Door Sticker There Does Not Seem To Be Any Indication Of The Decals Or Badge Ever Being There Did Some Cars Come Without Them??

or could have been wrecked and repainted, shop didnt put the decals back on and owner couldn't afford the ws6 hood which in OEM form is very expensive

I bought mine with no WS6 emblem. They are worth good money so they might have took it off before they sold it, or someone might have stolen it.

check the rpo if there is no ws6 on it then it's not a real ws6

If they were taken off early enough, there shouldn't have been too many issues with the adhesive damaging the paint.

The repaint theory is also a good one too. Any visible tape lines in the door jamb area or under the hood?

the only reason I mentioned the repaint theory is b/c my last trans am was a red convertible. It had the ram air hood but had no decals anywhere on it. It had been repainted and I noticed it had the oem air box. I didnt think it was a WS6 b/c it had 16" chrome 5 stars but.....the convertible ram air's did. I checked the door and sure enough it was a WS-6. 1 of 90 red verts. Really nice car until the Mac truck pulled out in front of me.......

From What I Can Tell It Has Not Been Repainted And Still Has The Oem Hood The Car Only Has 9000 Miles On It And I Bought It From The Second Owner Which I Never Met But Seems Like From Things He Did To The Car He Isnt To Bright Like The Original Hurst Leather Gear Shifter Is Missing And Hurst T Bar That Was Taped On With Electrical Tape Was In Its Place The Emlems And Decals Were Gone When He Got It

Not too likely it was damaged and repainted in BOTH the front and rear. If the RPO decal on the door contains "WS6" and the VIN on that decal matches your dash VIN plate, then you have a for-real WS6. Years ago, lots of people had problems of getting the rear badge stolen, so that's a possibility. Also, the hood decals are over the clear, so it's not hard to remove those either. Although a shift handle that was taped on would make me suspicious of other shenanagans w/ the car, even though the ODO only shows 9K.

I would definitely get one, as far as the ram air hood decals it is not oem it is up to you to put them on or not.

Are you saying that the factory did not install the "Ram Air" decals on the hood of WS6s?? I've NEVER seen a real WS6 (or heard of one) without the hood decals, unless of course the hood had been re-painted or the owner removed them.
