The only part missing are the custom brake lines. Those cost $75, but are sold by a non-sponsor.

The exact setup I want...unfortunately, don't have the 18" wheels to accommodate it yet.

Perhaps it would be within budget to see about a set of SP500s...how long do you plan on running this sale?

I should be able to hold this pricing for at least 1-2 weeks, as long as GM doesn't do anything else goofy with their pricing.

A rear brake upgrade isn't really needed. It would only be for looks, so I haven't looked into it at all. Kore3 may have a bracket to move the stock F-body caliper out to fit a larger 330mm or 340mm rear rotor, but no one I know of is advertising a rear kit.

Some of the traditional Big Brake Kit suppliers may offer something for the rear, but it would probably cost between $2,000 and $3,000 just like their front kits. (well, I know of one kit, but it's still $1500)

Are the rear CTS-V calipers cheap like the front ones? I never even priced them. Another thing is, I don't know how much fluid they can displace. So they may work with the stock master cylinder, but I can't say for sure. I'd need more info on them and right now all I know is that they are not a traditional Brembo design. They are a new design (2004) made just for the CTS-V.

I'm pretty sure the C5 and C6 rear rotors are interchangable with our cars if we can just fit a caliper over them.

The calipers and rotors are cheap, but I agree with you, I don't really see the need to do the rears.

Hi Kevin! I tried to order the set up, but it wouldn't let me. Said I needed to select an option to order, but there were no options to select! Thanks!

Brian,
Sorry about that. It's fixed now. Just a stupid little radio button that I forgot to uncheck when making the special.
Thanks

The stock brake pads are $220? I thought they were $116 for the set? How much is the harware kit?

I did some searching around, and found that the price Kevin is giving for the front pad sets is great! I found them elsewhere for $228 a set, which is just a little more than what they cost in this package deal.

Ok, well Kevin also quoted a guy in another thread $655 minus the hardware, which was $116 for the pads. I'm just trying to understand the costs that all. So either he wasn't clear in his quote to that guy and that was just for two pads instead of 4, or the hardware kit is $105. Which is it?
