Will these work in a blazer chasis? If they are going to be 7/8, thats to much header for me...=(

Since the Blazer has a little bit of a body lift compared to a standard Truck, they should actually have more room in them for the headers than the truck does.

So, yes the Blazer should work!

STOP POSTING ON HERE AND GET THAT TRANSMISSION TOGETHER!

It would be cool if the turbo headers fit too!

I cant see your current turbo headers clearing the steering shaft at all.

Heres the current stage of the truck Engines coming out in the morning to swap the mounts, pull the current longtubes out take a hammer to the trans tunnel firewall pinchweld. Then put the engine back in. Just waiting on transmission.

Current stage of transmission

Now that we know that the clutch clearances are ok we just have to assemble it. I cant do trans work so that's out of my hands. Better get done this weekend.

Well update. Engine pulled. Old longtubes out. New cpw poly mounts installed engine lowered back in. Now for the shitty part. My notch wont work with the new mounts. The notch is too shallow to the point where the engine sits on the crossmemeber and still has a bit to go before i can run the bolt through the mounts. So ill mark.where to cut the notch and how much deeper and recut and weld then reinstall the engine.

Engines all the way out and marked the notch before removing the engine. I didn't notch it straight it was slanted, being higher up front and low in the back and the sides were kind of curved up so now I cut the sides straight down and cut the back a tad lower since with the engine sitting on it I still had a good 1"-1.25" of space in the back but wad hitting the side up front so Ill weld the plate straight of the back and make the sides a right angle and weld a ledge up front like most do. I was going to go ahead and start plating and welding it up but I now am going to toss the engine back in for good measure to make sure all will be good. Its a pain installing and removing it on my own but better to check before I weld.

Looking Good!

Wish that notch had worked for the new mounts.
