Default Wallmart Special on Bauer TB’s!

We have a shipment of F-body cores on the truck headed to us right now, so I decided to have a special on TB’s

$200 for a ported core with core included. (+shipping)
$230 for a ported and powder coated core with core included.(+shipping)

Yep that’s right no core charge. I’ve seen core charges as high as $200 for throttle bodies, we are including the core for this special. I don’t need them back so you can either keep your stock one, or put it up on Ebay or the for sale section. Normally they go for around $100. Sell it, keep it, it’s your choice when cores are this cheap.

Our throttle bodies are the only ones out there with:
1. Adjustable throttle stop. WHICH COMES PRE-SET!
2. Accurately bored main body to remove the lip
3. The use of epoxy to not only fill in the IAC and PCV void, but to improve the flow of the throttle body to reshape the entire opening. You can’t do that with JB Weld.

Our main emphasis is on performance, but I realize that looks matter to you guys as well.

All of these cores are a blank canvas, so if you want them powder coated or not that’s up to you.

Shoot me an e-mail @ bret@bauer-racing.com to order or for more info. Please include a zip code for shipping quotes.
Bret

I have yet to see the cores, but from what I have been told the majority of them is 2002 un-used cores.

Anyone interested in Bret's work, look here:

https://ls1tech.com/forums//showthre...referrerid=183

If I had 20 LS1's, all 20 of them would have a Bauer TB..

Am I crazy or is the info on you rsite not up to date?

Price for Ported and Powdercoated: $180.00 (Payment is C.O.D., PaypPal or by check when accompanied with the throttle body)Price for Ported Only: $140.00
Why is this one more than the ones on your site?
Also It makes me nervous using ONLY CASH TYPE methods. After TCS went away with all the PayPal $$ I wont use it anymore. What else can you do? CC? Thanks

Ricky,

We machine bore them to make sure that they are opened up to 75mm exactly.

The adjustable throttle stop is a much more accurate and clean installation of the throttle stop mod. WHICH COMES PRE-SET

On top of that we also mask off the areas where powder coat should not go.

I've seen other coated throttle bodies first hand and neglecting to do this so the rear face, the bearings and IAC area are all coated is not a good thing, the machined surfaces are machined for a reason.

Our porting has been updated and refined over the years and uses epoxy to achive a much better flow volume thru the throttle body, filling the void inside the throttle body is only partially what it's used for.

Shoot me an e-mail since I don't answer the threads as fast as the e-mails.

Bret

Yeah I just got my computer redone with XP so I can use Dreamweaver to update the entire website.

Normally the $180 and $140 is what the WORK costs, not the core and the work. Our cores are normally $150 vs $200 for a competitors. Now we have been able to reduce the price of the throttle body cores and work for a select amount of units.

So $330 vs $230. Basically $100 off.

We have been a sponsor for over a year now, if you are uncomfortable with using paypal I can't help that. The sponsor's are regulated by the board to keep you guys from being ripped off. That and the fact that I would have to have no morals to do that and put a permanent curse on my bussiness keep us from taking your money and running.

If you want you can send in a check or money order. A core with work done needs to be paid for upfront. There are only 5 of these cores left.

A 2000-2002 will bolt on a 1999 but it's not the preffered way to go.

Whats a better way to go then? What adverse affects will it lead to?

The best way to go is to put a 98-99 TB on the car.

The cruise control clip will be a little loose and the throttle cable will need to be adjusted to get everything right. I'm just afraid that the cable will be a little tight after the install of the bigger throttle cam on the TB.
