Thumbs up Evans Water pumps

Evans Cooling Systems Inc has just released a new highflow LS1-6 water pump. The billet coolant pump and pulley flows over 20% more than stock and changes the cooling pattern for a more even cooling. The pump increases cooling efficency in modified LS1 Corvettes, Camaro`s and LS1 based motors. Evans has changed the design of the OEM pump casting and includes a billet pulley hub and heavy duty 3/4" shat bearing assembly. It also includes a 3.8" OD 8 vane scrolled impeller to reduce paracitic horsepower loss at high RPM. A new serpentine belt is requiered. We will have these in stock in a couple of days I will get you pics then.

Evans complete water pump with billet pulley $469.95 for Corvettes
Evans complete water pump with billet pulley $469.95 for F-Bodies
Goodyear serpentine belt $49.95 either

Also Evans new NPG R race coolant in stock $25.95 a gallon

Have a good day Nate

The pump is extremely efficient in cooling the motor and for better distribution of coolant. The stock housing tends to have a lack of cooling to one side of the motor and not the other. This pump is not for HP it is for keeping the cooling system in check. Which in turn will make more HP. It is about the same weight as stock it uses a similar housing the only thing that may be lighter is the billet aluminum pulley.

Here is the second picture.

This picture is turning out really small because it downloaded as a bitmap instead of a jpeg. But, if you go to the webshots page in my sig, and then go to Miscellaneous, they are the last two pics if you want to see better pictures.

In one thread you state this is $399 with your core and in this one you list it at $469.95? What is the actual price and will you run a GP/special on these?

They were doing a core excange. Now they offer a new casting completly remachined. I could do a GP but they are not too popular yet. I would need 10+ orders and could sell them for $395. They will also offer a ceramic coated version for $125 extra.

Well, if they're not too popular yet - now would be a good time for them to run specials in order to get customer run time under their belt and get the word out about their product!

I'd be in if a GP was started - do we have 9 more?

Ok we can do it. I got you guys a couple of options.

Used casting remachined retail $399.99 GP $340.00 +$125 core charge

Brand new casting no core retail $469.99 $395.00 NO core requiered

Evans super flow 160* T-Stat $49.95 reqiered with purchase stock does not flow enough

Add $125 for ceramic thermal coating-for extra heat disapation and a little bling

Thanx Nate - I'll give you a call tomorrow. Is there a big performance difference between the machined stock casting vs. their new casting?

Same machining done to both. Just some people did not want to give up there core or just wanted a "NEW" casting. So they offered it.

Thanks Nate

Nate -
Are you gonna have enough for this GP to go? I'm ready to send in an xtra pump I have to be modified and get the ceramic coating - if the price will still be $340 + $125

BTW, Can't wait to get those Harland Sharp Rockers!

I think I have enough for this to go through. I just need everyone interested to call with the order. And I can get it rolling.

Another note the Evans T-stat is requiered for the extra flow of the new pump. The stock t-stat does not flow enough. $49.95 with purchase.

Thanks for the orders Nate
