you can make changes to the fuel and timing tables along with having 4 preset programs. and you can make changes to those. takes care of the torque management. changes shift points and enhances the firmness. deletes CAGS for those with manuals.

reminder for the GP on this tuner. many have had great results with it. check over at corvette forum c5 scan and tune. here's my results using it at the track.

all stock + cutout open
60ft - 2.073
1/8 - 8.833 @ 82.55
1/4 - 13.636 @ 101.58

above + performance/stock cam program,+10% timing, shift firmness, shift enhancement
60ft - 2.041
1/8 - 8.697 @ 83.51
1/4 - 13.431 @ 102.90

i tried others like the stock cam/supercharged and the CAM #1 just for giggles. i gained a .1et/.5mph over stock from the CAM #1. for the supercharged one .05et/.3mph. remember the only thing i have added are the SLP airlid and cutout

Are these programmers locked to the vin and can only tune 1 car for the life of the programmer. Thanks

yes and no.

yes it's locked to a VIN until you use the 'return to stock' program. then you can move it to another vehicle. the car programmers are for 99-02 f bodies and 99-04 corvettes all in one.

i've used mine on both my formulas. played with it in the wife's 99. hit return to stock. now i'm using it in the 00 formula. once the VHP heads come in for the wife's car, i'll put the stock programming back into my formula. tune her car and leave it permanently affixed to her car. then get me one.

cliff notes: no you can't program more than one car at a time. but, you can move it from one vehicle to another once you 'return to stock' the program in the one you are using it on at the time.

It is much better than Predator (besides the fact you can downlod custom tunes)

We do have enough takers for the group purchase, so if you want one now is the time to order. I'm not sure yet how long this is going to last, but if you order now, I can guarantee the price. Thanks for your interest and pm me with any questions or concerns you might have. Joe.

no cannot get custom tunes downloaded. doesn't lock to VIN of car. i pass mine back and forth between the 99 and 00 formulas i have. i do have to uninstall first though. do a search for the predator. there are some known glitches with it. i'm sure they have fixed theirs. or are working on the glitches. these two are the closest to edit you can get in a handheld.
