Default SLP ZL-402 Now Available!

The wait is over! Having recently concluded a final, grueling round of performance and durability testing, we’re now taking pre-orders* on our ultra-hot ZL-402 Short-Block Assembly. Dubbed the ZL-402 to reflect its beastly 402-cubic-inch displacement, this package is chockablock with such race-proven hardware as a new GM LQ9 block, a 4.00” forged steel crank, and 4.00” forged aluminum pistons. With the right cam and heads and a properly tuned PCM, the ZL-402 is fully capable of producing over 575 hp and a similar amount of torque in naturally aspirated form. You won’t find a lower-priced, higher-quality LS1 stroker package anywhere! (For those of you who prefer to supply your own engine block, SLP also offers budget-friendly ZL-Series rotating assemblies in 383- and 402-cubic-inch varieties.)

Get your pre-order in now--we expect the first batch to go quickly!

Best Regards,

Team SLP PP

What kind of rods do you use in the rotating assembly? It doesn't mention rods or their fasteners in any of the info.

Thanks.
