Default Best Price On Pacesetters, Where?

Texas Speed has them for $374.99 for the coated long tube headers and the Y Pipe with cats for $349.99. Is there anywhere thats cheaper? Thanks for any help.

The Y-pipe with cats is a TSP made product so don't expect to get that anywhere else as a package. I doubt you will get a better price, but if want to get the best price, just wait till another Group Purchase or when a sponser has a sale on them; they pop up atleast once a month.

Will the y pipe does not have to be a TSP it just has to work with the Pace Setter headers. Oh, I would wait for Group Purchase but my manifold has a crack in it. Or, would I be better off getting the Off-Road Y Pipe System for $144.99 and buy some Magnaflow high flow catalytic from eadperfomance for $59.99 each. Would that work because they In/Out: 3". If that would work would i pass the sniffer test?

It depends whether you get the ORYP or not. If you get the y pipe with no cats then you will need them in order to keep from setting off your SES light.

You might need 02 extensions though; call TSP and ask them if you will need them with the new locations of the cats.

I highly recommend not getting the ORYP and putting magnaflow cats in. It will cost more to fabicrate the cats into the y-pipe then just buying TSP's pipe.

You *should* pass the sniffer test with cats.

Is it possible to reuse the factory cats with a 3" fabricated y-pipe?

Yea, it will need some welding and bending. It won't be pretty.

I just ordered my Pacesetter's from Speed Inc. They matched TSP's price and are local so I will save on shipping.
I actually went to place my order with TSP (on-line) for the headers & ORY and it came up with a total of $80 for shipping (to IL.) & tax. I did order the TSP ORY which is supposed to be free shipping, this time it came up with no tax but I was charged for shipping Hopefully the folks at TSP will correct this and credit me.
I'm not trying to take any business away from TSP here but since you're in IL. Nick you might want to check with Tom or Mike at Speed Inc. they do price matching.

EDIT 1/4/05: Jason from TSP contacted me and straightened everything out. Seems like a good guy.
