Default Jet-Hot Header GP

Jet-Hot now has it's own header for LS1 F-bodies! Here are the specs:
1 3/4" primaries, long tube, 3" slip on collector
16 gauge tubes, 3/8" thick flange.
Flange is a one-piece, completely flat design, not the "protruding tube" style.
They have EGR & AIR accomodations designed around the 98-99 models.
O2 bungs are welded in the collectors.
Paper type gaskets & standard bolts are included.
Headers double coated in & out with Jet-Hot Sterling finish, so Lifetime rust-through warranty applies.
Headers are made in the U.S. of A., so the welds and tubes are of the highest quality. No cheap stuff.

Price is $511 including shipping & handling within the 48 states. Jet-Hot is offering a 2 payment plan at no additional cost as well. Basically you pay 1/2 when you order, and the credit card is billed the other 1/2 30 days later.

I don't have any pictures yet, but should within a week or so. Our prototype was sent off to get photographed to appear in GM High Tech Performance magazine, otherwise I'd snap a shot myself.

We have 25 that will be showing up in our Arizona facility tomorrow, so they can be shipped by the end of the week. If you have any questions please email me or call 800-432-3379 x112.

Thanks

Todd

I knew I'd forget to post something! This is going to run until the 25 are sold, which shouldn't be long.

Todd:
I applaud you guys for taking the time to survey and get feedback on what potential customers want in a long tube header; however, I see no mention of a "complete" kit including Y-pipe.
To be more specific, I can't even begin to count the number of individuals who replied to the survey who need a y-pipe with cats. Please tell me you will be offering a Y-pipe with cat. converters.

I've got a couple post to respond to here...

1. I'll get pics up as soon as I can.

2. These headers are compatible with the Hooker off road ypipe. That's the short-term solution. I've just started working on the cat issue as many have brought it up. Jet-Hot doesn't really want to get into the issue of emissions certification, so we're looking at what options are out there. At any rate, your voice is heard and we're working on it.

They couldn't be emissions certified even if you wanted to, because they change the location of the cats. So forget about certification. That's not why people want them anyway. They want them to pass a sniffer test, or a lax visual inspection, or maybe they have a little tree hugger in them, or in my case I like the sound better, they kill the rasp.

Lots of people waiting on this option, I'd venture to say none of them are waiting for or expecting any sort of certification.

Question for JetHot:

Will you have a set of these headers on display at the PRI tradeshow?

Hey JetHotTodd , How about some for the LT-1 cars? I would love to have some that "look" emmissions compatible. That price would be great also!

First off, I finally got some headers to take photos of today. They're not on jet-hot.com yet, so if you want them, email me and I'll send them over.

Second, I have had requests for these headers without AIR & EGR connections. We are taking names and email addresses of those interested. If there is sufficient interest we will build them on the next production run. Let me know.

Third, we are working on LT1 headers, but they probably won't be ready for 4-8 weeks. I had no plans of putting AIR & EGR connections in them. If people are interested, now would be a good time to speak up.
