The Powergrip HD is Ram's "stage 4 comparable" clutch that's rated to 600 HP, and it comes with the disc, pressure plate, and alignment tool. It will work just fine with a factory resurfaced flywheel, but I would recommend running one of their shims since it is resurfaced. It is .150" thick, and it will give you the added travel that some want. Some are under the impression that the adjustable master cylinder will solve this problem, but it only limits the amount of travel, it will not provide you with more. The shims are $12.50, FYI. The majority of guys install the clutches without the shim, but it will keep you from having to pull the transmission out again should you need the extra travel.

Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

Country Boy - The life of a clutch will greatly depend on how hard you run the car, both on the street and on the track. However, you'll FAR surpass 5,000 miles!

The clutches do not come with a new throwout bearing. However, if you upgrade slave cylinders GM does send them out with new throwout bearings. We stock the 2001+ upgraded GM slave cylinders for $125. It is HIGHLY recommended to upgrade to the revised slave if you are still running the factory 1998-2000 GM slave cylinder.

Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

How does the HD run. Is it for the track only. Is it real gittery like the spec stage 4 and my last question is. Can I get a price with the Ram HD and Billet flywheel shipped to 33615 2 day. I will be ordering it tomorrow but would like it here by friday so I can install it on saturday.

Orders can be placed online. We will have the pricing changed this evening to reflect the sale prices.

blackcat - I believe Jon took care of you this morning. Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

The HD clutch is sprung, so it won't have as much of the vibration upon release.

Let me know if any of you have any other questions.

Trevor,

I have heads/cam waiting to go in my car. Hoping to hit ~500 fwhp with it. Might have a small nitrous shot a little later (75 shot). I don't go to the track much at all (4-5 times a year at most), mainly street driving.

Which ram clutch would you recommend? Also, is there any warranty with the clutches? Thanks, Pete.
