Default Rotating assembly 382,402,408etc...

Can any of the sponcers do better then 1795.00 like Keith Craft sells, it comes with Eagle forged crank, Eagle forged rods, Diamond forged pistons, plasma-moly rings, Clevite bearings, balanced.

$1795 for ALL of that? Are you sure that's an accurate price. The Diamond pistons alone are around $645. Are you getting the crank for and rods for about $500 each?

I think you've been misquoted. No one could beat that price. Heck, no one could make any money selling it at that price, IMO. I could be wrong, though. The Eagle crank alone is $9XX.XX ish.

I know thats a low price but its right, I have called and talked to them before. They said b/c they buy some much in bulk due to all the other motors they build. Its an accurate price and a great deal!

Which Eagle Rods? The Eagles are full normal SBC offset and don't work with several of the pistons we use at all.

I can do an econo 383/408 kit for that that uses The Eagle 4.000 crank and SCAT H-Beam rods which I can get with almost no offset (only .010 instead of .035) and Mahle pistons for 1895.00 balanced or the same with SCAT ICR with the big 7/16 cap screw forged I-beams for 1795.00 Balanced.

These are the same kits we actually use everyday and they work great. You could upgrade to the Callies CompStar LS1 rods for 50.00 more and also to the Wiseco pistons for 75.00 more which are probably the best of our shelf pistons for the LS1 on NOS.

In addition to balancing we also check all pin bores in the pistons and rods and hone them for the right pin clearance if they need it as in NOS use or just in case they are too tight etc. For an additional 25.00 we can also set your ring gaps right here too in our ring fixtures for whatever usage you plan and you can just install them with no grinding as long as you are either 4.030, 4.040 or 3.905 bore sizes.

Actually even at that price I would only run this special for this month of June and we do not make all these parts so there could be small delays depending on pistons etc. but most all of this is shelf stock so it should be available to me. Also I will probably limit this to 10 of these rotating assemblies in the wake of some of the recent GP problems!

Yes it would be right at 100.00 off for the balancing plus the 50.00 and the 75.00 so you would be right at 1920.00 and I have most of this in stock depending pistons. Sometimes must wait a week on shelf pistons if I run out.

Also I use the 152M Mains and CB663H Rods which are both the "race" bearings for LS1.

cyphur_traq,

I need to make sure of the availability of those pistons but it should be the same price as well.

Erik I may seriously give you call in the next couple of days... I totaled my WS6 last month, and retained salvage from the insurance company. Today I purchased 99 Z28 so now I have an extra LS1 motor, that I want to turn into a 383. Currently the motor in my WS6 is a stock bottom end with PP stage III LS6 heads, and a G5X3 cam. I'm looking for some extra cubes to help tame the cam, and I would also like to have a bottom end that can safely take a 250 shot (progressively controlled). This "kit" you are putting together sounds like it might be the ticket. I haven't picked a machine shop yet, so I may also be interested in letting you guys do the block build up for me. I'll give you a all tomorrow, to see what you can work up for me. Luckily I'm local so I can actually bring my spare block to you.

Matt
