Wiseco discontiued there 383 piston. I can get you a customs with some excellent rings for 350 more. That would bring the price to $4130. Personally I would go with the 408". They make alot better power than the 383" So for the price you could have a 408" with the custom pistons and really make some great power.

Thanks,
Bryan

the weight difference is what 100 pounds? is an all motor "street" 408 going to make so much more power than the 383 to make up the difference? i'm totally open to your input here. not being an ***, gathering info. the 408 does sound like it would be much more powerful to me with the iron block. great price btw.
oh yeah, on the nitrous note, what kind of power is that eagle crank, callie's rod setup proven to? say 900 to the wheels with ~350 being nitrous?

Some of the best 383's i have seen make about 480 to the wheels. A comprable 408 will put you over 500. Not to metion the 383's get drug on the street and at the track when put up against a 408. The bigger bore better utilizes your clylinder heads. Also I believe that the cylinder wall rigidity of the 408 plays a considerable role. If you plan on making 900hp to the wheels I would recomend upgrading to the Lunati pro mod rod for $200. I have seen the H beam hold that kind of power. However if it were my motor I would step up to the better con. rod.

Thanks,
Bryan

Yes. The LS2 402 will come with the LS2 Block, timing set, timing cover, valley cover, lifter trays, Eagle crank, Callies H beam rod, Wiseco custom 4.005" piston w/ lateral gas ports, NPR stainless chrome rings ( great for No2 or boost), Federal Mogal main brgs., Clevite rod., Dura Bond cam brgs. and ARP main studs. This package is $5550.

Stepping up the rods will be the same $200 for the Lunati Pro Mod. The custom piston and rings are already included.

Thank you,
Bryan

We have ran an LME LS2 402 in a customer's Corvette and made 505rwhp with just a moderate cam. We have another being built right now.
