Default 471 Cubic Inch LS2 is Here!

Hey folks, as most of you know I am a large displacement fanatic (yes, a nut). We now have a dry sleeve LS2 available that will enable us to reach 471 cubic inches!

This engine with a set of ET 265 11 degree heads should be an unbeatable axle breaking, clutch shreading package. And the best part is that there will not be much of a cost adder over our 447CI LS2.

I'll have more info as the first one goes together. Contact me if you want on the list

Mikey

Hey Mikey, Happy new year!

Wow that is a lot of cubes

Do you have one together and in the car? Expecting dyno numbers anytime soon?

I would like to see this w/ the 285? ET heads, a monster solid roller and some serious compression (14.5-15.5:1). Can you say "New ls1 N/a et/mph record"?

What borexstroke are you using? I thought I was doing good with my 4.150x4.185, but you have now made me look puny.
Never mind, i figured it out. 4.200"x4.250"+ 471 ci. I thought only the MID sleeves were gunna be 4.200 capable??

4.200" x 4.250". I may start to build one up for myself, haven't decided yet. Pricing for the long block is on my site but I have to get the short block pricing up and I haven't worked that out just yet. I'd really like to see this motor under a set of canted valve ET heads.

What kind of HP do you expect to see in a max effort street car on pump gas with this motor?

Holy crap! It could be an all out race monster or a stealth 600 rwtq street machine with those cubes.

How much extra are the big sleeves and Callies crank over the standard LS2 dry block and say a Lunati pro-billet? That's about $2500 more than my 454ci/ET 265 headed motor. Also, does Diamond already have the scan for the offset valves? Just wondering if they were already producing a custom piston for those heads. Weisco is taking forever on mine.
