Speed Inc was the only one even close, and they don't list their components.
Every other website I checked didn't have a price list on 408's.
We've sold them before with these components and lesser components which might be what you're thinking about.
Either way, we believe it's fair.

Dave I believe he is talking about the Eagle 408's. They are like 3400 bucks or so.
You have better parts in your 408 and mattsls1 probally didn't notice the difference or realize there was a difference.
TTT for you.

The main difference is the crank. The callies crank is about 2x the price of the eagle crank, and there is where the main difference is.
Call LPE (the company you copied the info from) and ask them how much extra for a Callies crank instead of a eagle crank, and the price will be very similar. Both companies have awsome customer service.
I have nothing but nice things to say about both and have delt with both.
Shop around, talk to different companies and whoever you feel offers you the best product use them.

Coated bearings and Hellfire rings(not much) add to that total in addition to the crank.
Thanks J.

The new assembled 347 shortblock is gone.
