SO once we get the center section, then we have to have the rest of the rear measured, welded, and hung?

But would they be able to handle a violent launch from a car making that kind of power?

I use and recomend the Moser housing and axle package to complete the assembly. With out ABS I can get you a package for $985.00 shipped with out ABS. Your stock brakes can be reused and your stock backing plate becomes the axle retainer. The SPOHN swaybar mounts are a bolt on item that will need to be order right from them.

Currently I have a few local customers that have gone 1.40's 60' times with out any issues. The unit is just like the Torsen, when it starts to break it will let you know when you turn. The worm gears start to bind against each other and make a clicking noise. I have had only one come back for warranty and that was with a BBC with NOS in a heavy 1970 Chevelle.

OK thanks... There has been several debates about this and I never heard anyone say how much it could handle in a drag race appliacation.

Scott, what is the pro/con's b/w the Daytona and Billet Alum pinion supports, other than weight? Is the Daytona heavier duty, or equal ( I know its ugly ). I'm looking at getting another center section, an ultra-feather weight spool setup, something for the track only, then I can swap in the N case for DD.

I like to use the Ford Motorsport Daytona support for street driven cars since they have a larger pocket for oiling the pinion bearings. The aluminums are for more weight savings for racecars. I haven't seen any diffferent in strength between the two.

Did you see the pics of PSJ's center section? That thing is so lite I am contemplating putting one together for our project car.

Scott, what kind of power would the budget 9" handle? I would be using it mostly on the street with a few trips to the dragstrip on drag radials. I would be making about 400 rwtq in a M6 car.
