Thumbs up Need intercooler tubing or header tubing? We can mandrel bend you whatever you need.

Stainless steel or aluminized steel intercooler tubing (2.5 inch and 3 inch) and stainless steel or mild steel header tubing (1.75 inch). Please feel free to contact us. Being that this section is not a "for sale" section, I do not want to post pricing. This offer goes out to the various sponsors on this board too. Moderators... I hope this thread is ok... this section seems to be the best place for this type of thread.

Excellent, and this post is alright in here as it is a service you guys provide but not a F/S ad.

Can you guys "copy" a welded up pipe....so instead of one welded up IC pipe it'll be one continous bend...catch my drift?

I was going to pull off my IC pipes and grind down all the welds and have em coated, but hey if you guys can do a copy then that might be a better option.

We can usually copy most tubing as a solid piece. I would need to see the pipes to determine if those bends could be duplicated in the mandrel bender.

Thanks,
Mitch

If a person were to digitize the pipes up would you be able to bend up the pipes from the digital file? If so, what format would you like the files to be in? Just asking as a general type question for now.

Thanks!

A picture would be great to get an idea, but I would need the dimensions, the radius, the lengths, etc.

The red car at the top appears to be an Lt1, and I like how you guys mounted the intercooler piping. I plan on mounting mine similiar, but what type of Silicone or Rubber are you guys using on that car and what ply is it???? I already have everything but the T-Bolt clamps and some silcone couplers to mount everything up.

We get the silcone couplers from Precision Turbo and Turbo Hoses.com.

Yuu should be sorry! Even though it never really had a prayer of coming together even with the pipes, I figured it was worth a shot.

I assume most guys would just leave the MAF there. A piece of pipe and 2 couplers wouldn't be a big deal, right?. It would be a straight piece of tubing, correct?

I see in your original post you were distinguishing between intercooler tubing and (large diameter) and header tubing (small diameter.) Can you do 2.5" - 3" stainless downpipes? They would probably have thicker walls than intercooler tubing. What are you limitations on type and wall thickness of stainless steel?

Thanks! -Dave

Dave,
We would use 16 gauge stainless steel for a down pipe.
