Default Hal 12 and 24 Way Adjustable Shocks On Sale!

We have discounts available for the complete line of Hal products. They produce 12 and 24 way adjustable shocks for the f-body. Pricing is lower than they allow us to advertise but you can receive a quote by e-mailing tbyrne@tbyrne.com or giving us a call at 1-877-482-9763. Part numbers are listed below.

Generation-F Front
QA1 Motorsports has the single best front shock available for GM F-body cars (1993 – present Camaros and Firebirds). Street, strip, or handling, this is the shock that can do it all! The GEN-F provides machined aluminum, externally adjustable shocks designed specifically for this series chassis. The valving adjustment is made with a single **** at the base of the shock (12 settings total), enabling you to adjust to changing track conditions or for ride comfort. This shock is the dominant force at the track and on the street.

The GEN-F shock is machined aluminum, bright anodized, and incorporates No. 8 Acme threads for easy ride height adjustments or adding preload to the front suspension. Based on the Proma Star AL, (see page 5) the GEN-F series uses the same 5/8” centerless ground, hard chrome piston rod for unmatched precision. Another plus, as with all QA1 Motorsports, is that the GEN-F is completely rebuildable and revalvable for a lifetime of service and customizing.

The sealing system in the GEN-F series rivals the best in the industry. It is designed to nearly eliminate seal drag, yet handle the rigors of everyday use. The GEN-F is simply the most versatile front shock available on the market today for 1993 – present Camaros and Firebirds.

Generation-F Rear
GM F-body cars’ (1982 – present Camaros and Firebirds) chassis design uses a torque arm suspension, differing them from the rest of the crowd. That’s why QA1 Motorsports has also designed a superior rear shock specifically for this series chassis. The GEN-F rear shock is engineered to handle it all – from drag and road racing to everyday street use.

The GEN-F offers a wide range of valving adjustments (12 settings) through just one ****. This bright anodized, machined aluminum, externally adjustable shock utilizes the same quality pieces found in all our shocks – 5/8” triple chrome piston rod, the highest quality fluid, and individual dyno testing. The sealing system is the best in the industry – it nearly eliminates seal drag, yet easily handles the rigors of everyday use. Plus, GEN-F rear shocks are rebuildable and revalvable for a lifetime of high performance use and customizing as you update.

Each **** is clearly labeled with an "R" for rebound or a "C" for compression, as well as plus and minus symbols for ease of adjustment.

Front F-Body Springs
QA1 offers the perfect springs for 1993 - 2002 Camaro/Firebird front suspensions using the GEN-F front shock. QA1 now offers three spring choices for your Gen-F vehicle. Purposely built with factory and modified small block cars in mind, the springs below are designed to set on the GEN-F spring seat and fit into the factory location at the top. Orders can be placed on our website or by giving us a call at 1-877-482-9763.

Alot of people that I talk to like these for all around use. The adjustability is a really good feature. You can set the car up to provide great weight transfer for drag racing and then turn the **** to tighten things up for street driving. Looks like your hookin' pretty good at the track now!

Drag springs are available for the front. I've used lowering springs in the rear with these. Some prefer the stock springs back there.
