I'd like to know how these work with colder climates. Are the CCA's similar to the stock battery? Will it have enough juice to power a 1000 watt stereo system without the headlights looking like strobes?

Thanks

How heavy is the factory AC Delco battery and what do we need to make the 15 lb or 11 lb battery fit in the stock location? Will we need to change our battery terminal ends? Thanks in advance for the info.

I believe it is 35-38 lbs, im not 100% sure.
You do not need to change your factory terminal ends, just purchase a side post adapter kit for like 5 bucks.

All you need is a mounting bracket and standard J hooks, everything can be found at your local auto parts store for under 20.00.

Thanks for the info. Do you have a picture of it installed in an LS1 f-body or in an LS2 GTO? Thank you.

That's good stuff. Thanks for the info.

I'm interested in the 11 lb battery. How is that if the car is driven everyday and in every climate? Thanks in advance for the info.

I dont see that being an issue but it wouldn't hurt to ask a tech guy at Braille.

Let me know if they think it will be the best choice for you.
I wouldn't mind finding out for you but nobody knows your car like yourself.

Thanks again,
Derek
