Thumbs up The Powder Pro powdercoated brake caliper, ported throttle body, and MAF exchange!

I'd like to introduce my new exchange program for F-body brake calipers, ported throttle bodies, and MAF ends.

I know there has been demand for the calipers in particular as no sponsor currently offers a caliper exchange program on here. Now you can have beautiful powdercoated calipers without your car being down! I currently have two complete sets here that I can coat and send out. I'll find more if need be

I also have numerous 98-99 and 2000+ ported and polished throttle bodies in stock ready to be coated and sent.

I also have several sets of stock MAF ends for exchange, none are ported at the moment but can be upon request if it suits your setup.

PM me if you'd like to order, I'm glad to help

Pricing:

Brake Calipers:
$185 + $20 flat shipping charge. ( I cover anything beyond the $20). This will get you the calipers and brackets in the color of your choice, plus super gloss clearcoat over everything for an added layer of protection and deep shine. Core charge if you fail to return your calipers is $200. Cores must be back in my hands within 2 weeks please. I completely dissasemble them, media blast them, then reassemble them afterwards. Better than new when done

Throttle Bodies:
Ported and polished with throttle shaft halfed, etc.
$65 just ported and polished, core charge is $65.
$130 ported andpowdercoated color of your choice with powdercoated cam gear, polished return spring. Includes all casting marks/part numbers, etc sanded off and media blasted surface, ends up like glass after powder.
$165 with polished exterior and ported
$70 if you send your throttle body for powdercoating only

MAF Ends:

$35 powdercoated color of your choice. All casting marks are sanded off and media blasted surface, like glass when finished as well. Core charge is $50.
$50 for show polished maf ends.
add $35 to either of the above for full porting of MAF ends.
All MAF ends come with polished bolts as well, you must return your bolts with your ends.

Here are some pics, mind you I'm still trying to figure this whole photography thing out, I just realized tonite I need good lighting lol. Pics show about half of the depth and gloss of most of the powders to be honest.

Calipers:
my custom match for Fbody Navy Blue Metallic with clear

mirror black and rally silver with clear

Mirror Red caliper and bracket

Mirror black caliper with "near chrome" bracket

Throttle bodies
Anodized red over reflective chrome powder

Mirror black with mirror red cam gear

port and polish view

rally silver with custom NBM cam gear and clear on top

polished exterior

MAF ends
gloss black and gloss white, Ported.

mirror red with clear, ported.

www.thepowderpro.comfor pics of all my other work, thanks!

Sean

Kinda a lame questions but...if you do the brake calipers, can you have the trans am stickers put on the base coat (I have a new set) and then the clear put on top of that?

Not a problem at all

As long as your decals can take 375 degrees thats easy to do. The super clear powder cures at 375. PM me to arrange everything if you'd like

Pre-grinding really wouldn't work so well, no way to guarantee they would be right without doing them on your car. I could use my camaro to do a set for someone but might not be perfect, seems like every car can be a wee bit different lol

Travis-pricing is identical, the core exchange program just allows folks to not have to wait and have their car down

if they are decent quality vynl they should be ok. I would just put them on hot and shoot the clear straight away over them, should work just fine. Let me know, be glad to help

what's your turn around time on calipers, if I go with the exchange program? I'm ordering new rotors next week and I may want to have you do some calipers for me! Thanks for offering a great service at a great price.

2000 ss-i have a powder that matches SOM, just been waiting for someone to order something in SOM lol.

6liter-just let me know, be glad to help you out!

Sommer-composite as in plastic? That is doable as long as the material can handle 375 degrees, you would have to contact the manufacturer i would think?

are the calipers rebuilt or just put back together using your old seals?

2000 SS--just let me know, we'll get it done

x2jesse--I was thinking of doing it where if you pay with a credit card I'll keep the card on file and if the cores don't get returned, then charge the card for the additional core charge of $200. I know $405 can be alot to put down up front, how does that sound?

bigsticksupra--as long as the seals and dust boots look ok I just degrease them, dunk the seals in brake fluid and put them back in, yes. I've had two sets so far that had ripped dust boots, etc that the customer needed to pay for new parts on. Anyone that wants new seals and dustboots that is no problem, just need to pay for the parts.
