i wanted to know if the kicker component setup i ordered (ks650.2) would sound better if i installed the tweeter in the a-pillar or in the midrange speaker like a coaxial?

kick panel is the best place

a pillar is way to harsh for my taste.

Just mount them up higher on the doors, in front of the window controls.

i have read that the tweeter needs to be close to the speaker. then again, if you did mount it in the A pillar i don't see why you can't tune it to be less loud. i wouldn't mount it like a coaxial, i think the whole reason why components sound better is because the tweeter isn't there.
