Default Viper Remote Start?

I need to order a Viper remote start, but can't find a great site with a good price.

I was able to find:
Viper 5101 Remote Start Two 1 Way SuperCode Remotes 4102V
$159.95

Directed Alarm XK06 GM Immobilizer Override Interface
$56.39

Can anybody help me find a better deal?

First of all, how will you have it installed? You won't get the warranty if you don't have a shop do it. If you care about that, then first look at your options for shops in the area and call them up and see what they can do for you for price, and see if they will let you provide your own unit. Sometimes they won't do it for you with your equipment, sometimes they will charge more for the install, and sometimes they will do it but not provide you the same warranty/guarantee as they would if you bought it from them.

Other than that, you can try Ebay as long as you get it from a reliable seller. You can get a 25% rebate for a buy-it-now item on Ebay right now through Microsoft. Search Google for Ebay Live.com deal to find out how.

for that price you might as well buy the Viper 5900 alarm with remote start with up to a 1 mile range. There is some on ebay for $225 with free shipping and definitely look up the live.com discount and get 25% off. I will probably be buying one soon but I found a local guy that does car alarms that is doing some side jobs, I'll probably try to have him install it for me, would do it myself but it kind of looks like a PITA.

Wow, the Viper 5900 looks nice. I was going to say get the 791xv, but the 5900 looks like the upgraded version.

I just did a remote start addition in my Z.

I was expecting it to be much worse. Took me about 4 hours total, with no wiring schematic at all.
