Default 2000 trans am head unit & speakers

SOOO im trying to redo my trans am's factory unit and speakers.. and i have my sub woofers and amplifier picked out right now, i still need to find a head unit, and speakers all round the car... so if anyone has any ideas for me, that would be great!

Subs:
two 12" alpine type r subs

Amp:
Alpine PDX1.1000, 1000 Watt RMS

Speakers---->
Front Doors: ??
Back Panels: ??
Rear Seat Side Panels: ??

Head Unit:
?_?

im thinking... the Pioneer AVIC D3 - Navigation system with DVD player and LCD

for the head at the moment, but still not sure

im looking for something with a Windows media player kinda display screen (the display with the music), and hopefully something i can change its lighting to red (my trans am is red, so it just makes sense to me more than blue would...)

Thanks!!

The Pioneer AVIC-Dx series has been discontinued (although you can still find them) and replaced with the F series. These are double DIN head units that will require a modified dash trim bezel and custom brackets to mount in your dash. Pioneer and Kenwood double DIN units have changeable display colors so you can match your dash lighting. Doing a search on "double DIN" will get you lots more information.
