You do know those subs are 600 watts rms each not 1200 each.
The 1200 is for the pair.

i have a 10w3 in my jl stealth box and it sounds damn good to me. if i could i would go with a w7 but the box is too small. you might want to look into a jl sub. people say they are overrated and overpriced but the sound quality is better than any i have heard imo.

IMO, get 1 stealth box and and 1 Fi-Q10 and a Amp with around 1000 watts rms.

If that's still not enough get 1 more !

I wouldn't but your stuff off ebay either...9 out of 10 times the person you bought it from isn't an authorized dealer and it automatically voids the warrenty. So if you blow a sub your SOL.

I have the two stealth boxes from subthump.com. I used two Rockford Fosgate T110D2 subs. I have the T1500bd pushing the subs with a T600.4 for the highs and mids. I used the T162S 6.5 mids with the 2" tweeter seperates in the front and the sails. I am having my amp rack built on Friday. The set up is better than I had hoped for. I will get the meter in the car after the amp rack is complete and post the max db. I have everything you can think of on my IPOD and all types of music sounds awsome.

FYI, Actually that applies to a lot of websites, not just Ebay. Also, even if you do buy from a authorized dealer(internet, or local), unless they(the authorized dealer) install it the manufacture can still void the warranty.

I second the JL Audio... my 8W7 is kicking a lot of *** in a stealthbox with a JL 500/1 amp pushing it. A 10w7 with an HD750.1 amp would be insane!

JLs kick ***....yes they are expensive but you get what you pay for....even cheaper series of JLs sound better than most subs... it doesn't have to be the W7 series...

I used to have:
2) JL 15w3 subs
1) 1000/1 v2 amp
1) 5 Farad CAP

In my 1988 Z28 and i was LOUD but most of all it sounded good also.... until it cracked the hatch glass. Right from the top bracket down to the botto seal, that sucked... lol

I hate loud systems that sound like ****....

Haha... I was wondering if a 1000/1 would kill the back glass... that's one of the reasons I did a 500/1 and one 8W7, instead of 2 8W7s and a 1000/1

This install is complete and here are some pictures. I did a db run while I was there and hit 135.3 with just the two 10" subs. Then I realized, the amp was just over 50% power. I guess I will have to make another run after turning up the amp.

02SOMz28: This is a great set up and I would recommend the boxes from subthump.com to anyone with an F-Body.

That's a sweet looking amp rack!
Maybe I should get mine put on a DB meter.
