Question a little help from the LED guys....

instead of ordering leds online and waiting for them to be shipped i went to the local radio shack and picked up leds for my steering wheel controls and headlight switch. i picked up four- 5mm blue leds, 5 volt 30mA 300mcd and one- 5mm blue led, 3.7 volt 20mA 2600mcd. The four went into my steering wheel controls and they are blue with a shade of purple. The single one went into my headlight switch and is more of a baby blue. I want them to be all the same shade so of course i will match them along the way. i know that mcd is how bright they are but what caused the color change? the volts or the milliamps?
