Here's a pic of my V1.

I've got it hardwired & mounted on the visor so it's out of sight. Out of sight, out of mind. It makes it almost impossible to see it when you mount it there. From the outside of the car, there is no hint of a radar detector. So there's at least a little theft-deterrence.

Plus, the cops can't see it unless they squat down, which they won't typically do.

Negative. I wear glasses & have prescription sunglasses so it isn't an issue.

You would be able to use the visor clip to mount it above the rear-view mirror, "clipped" to your headliner as shown in this pic (sorry bout the shitty camera quality, one day I'll man up & buy a nice digital one)

Does anyone have the concealed display mounted in their car for the V1? I've been looking for a place to mount mine but can't seem to find anything that great.

Most of the time, I see the concealed displays velcroed (sp?) on one of the bottom corners of the gauge cluster. I know Viper guys do this a lot. The trim pieces won't allow for a whole lot in f-bods, though.
I would love to hear from someone with a custom mounted display.

thats where I have mine.

I have it on the left side under the temp gauge
and my v1 is mounted onto a blendmount mount under the rear view mirror.
